No campo de Pretoriuskop, no Kruger, Macacos vervet (Vervet Monkey, Chlorocebus pygerythrus) (F. Cuvier, 1821) fotografados no dia 04/01/2011, com dois filhotes. Sua coloração azulada é inconfundível e os filhotes são não somente muito bonitos, mas, como é comum entre primatas, muito divertidos. Não custa lembrar que estão entre os primatas com sistema de comunicação mais bem conhecido, graças aos estudos de Seyfart e Cheney.

In the Pretoriuskop camp, in Kruger, Vervet Monkeys (Chlorocebus pygerythrus) (F. Cuvier, 1821) photographed in Jan 4th 2011, with two youngs. Their bluish color is unmistakable and the youngs are not only very beautiful, but also, as it is common among primates, quite fun to watch. It is never too much to remember that they are among the primates whose communication system is better understood, thanks to Seyfart and Cheney's studies.
